Who knew life could be so good!
The Tux valley is also called the green glacier valley. We couldn’t put it better ourselves. There is something particularly charming about the Tuxbach valley. It lies higher than the rest of the Zillertal at 1,300 - 1,500 metres above sea level and has a favourable climate. Here the Swiss stone pine trees have their tree line. That’s something we are particularly happy about, because Ossi makes his famous Zirbenschnapps, his stone pine schnapps, from the cones of the Swiss stone pine. We are only 8 kilometres away from the Hintertux Glacier. Right after Tux begins the Zillertal Alps high mountain nature park. Whether in summer or winter, in Tux you will be plunged into the magnificent nature of the high mountains in all its glory.
