We have a reputation as a child-friendly hotel. The truth is that, as a family-run hotel, we are only too familiar with the wishes and requirements of families from our own experience. Happy children mean happy parents. It's as simple as that! And that's why we offer an awesome and varied programme for every age, from babies to teens. Individually or as a family, in summer or in winter - the choice of activities and possibilities is vast!

Children’s play area and Playarena
Children of all ages are in good hands in the in-house playroom. Climbing wall, XBOX360 and Playstation 4 consoles, pool billiards, giant Duplo bricks, oversized memory game, ballpit, table football, air hockey, maze table and magnetic rally - whatever your children's preferences, they're sure to find just what they’re looking for here.
We are also members of the Playarena. This kids' paradise is only a 2-minute walk from the Dorfplatzl and specialises in professional supervision for children aged 2 - 16 years. With an indoor high ropes course, giant slides, trampoline park, air hockey and a children's disco with singing star party, this place will keep the children entertained for hours on end.
Kids in Winter
The Hintertux flea park could well be the start of a promising skiing career. Especially as Luis, the Glacier mascot, is there to encourage the young skiers at the Hintertux Glacier valley ski lift station with free conveyor belts, as well as beginner lifts and a carousel.
After all, where better to learn to ski than in Tux? Three ski schools offer beginner to advanced courses for children from four years of age. One of them is located at the top station of the Rastkogelbahn ski lift and is therefore only 3 minutes' walk from the Dorfplatzl. There is a ski kindergarten for children from three years of age. You are welcome to book the children's ski school and ski equipment in advance and pick it up on your arrival. At lunchtime, the little ones are taken care of in the ski school or you can eat together with the children on the slopes. For full day care, the children's taxi can be booked at the Luggis Ski School with pick-up from the hotel.

Kids in Summer
Children-friendly canyoning in the mountain streams, exciting cave trekking or a visit to the glacier flea park at an altitude of 3,250 m - in Tux, action, fun and excitement are on the programme every day. Every Sunday, the children's play festival takes place in Tux and there are kids parties in the Finkenberg outdoor adventure pool.
The exciting themed trails invite the whole family on an adventurous nature-discovery hike. A special highlight is the 'Gletscherflohpark' on the Hintertux Glacier, which takes place annually from July to September. Here it's all about the little ones too, who are encouraged to rummage, collect and find! And, of course, the Playarena also offers a varied summer programme for children and teens.
