Here we answer the most frequently asked questions about the Aparthotel Dorfplatzl, its rooms and apartments. You will also find questions about activities in Tux and the Zillertal. Do the rooms have a Wi-Fi connection?
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the establishment.
Unfortunately, I have to cancel my holiday – what now?
We recommend you take out travel insurance. It can be taken out directly at the time of booking (including helicopter rescue). Otherwise, our cancellation policy applies. There is no charge up to 31 days before arrival, between 30 and 15 days before arrival 30% of the package price is due, between 14 and 7 days before arrival 60% of the package price is due, and in the last week before arrival 100% of the package price.
Can my dog come on holiday with us?
Your dog is welcome at the Dorfplatzl. However, a cleaning fee of € 10.00 per day will be charged.
Do you have lactose and gluten free products?
Our miniM supermarket directly at the Dorfplatzl offers various lactose and gluten-free products. Please let us know in advance which are important to you.
Is there a pool?
There is no swimming pool in our hotel. However, there are numerous outdoor and indoor swimming pools nearby.
Where can I check-in / check-out?
Your booked room will be available from 15:00 on the day of arrival. Please let us know if you arrive earlier. You are welcome to leave your luggage with us and change! Check out by 10:30, subject to availability we also offer the possibility of a late check out. We ask you to pay your bill the day before.
Can my child go to the Play Arena?
YES! From December 2019 we are a member of the Playarena. Enjoy all the amenities of the Playarena as our guest.
How do I get to the Hintertuxer Glacier?
Our hotel is 8 kilometres away from the Hintertux Glacier. A free shuttle bus runs throughout the year. The bus stop is 50 metres away and you are guaranteed a seat!
How do my children get to the ski school?
The Luggis ski lessons take place at the Rastkogel ski resort. The ski lift is 100 meters away. You can bring your kids to the meeting point yourself or, if booking full-day care, your kids will be picked up directly at the hotel.
Is there indoor parking?
We have ample free parking directly at the hotel. We do not have indoor parking spaces.
Is the hotel allergy-friendly?
The altitude of the Tuxertal is ideal for allergy sufferers. However, our house does not offer special linens or the like.
Skiing right to your door! Publicity stunt or reality?
Our hotel is located at the foot of the Rastkogel ski resort and at the end of the valley run. In normal weather conditions, skiing is possible right up to the front door from December to April.
Is it possible to book breakfast when booking an apartment?
Of course! Please let us know the evening before.
How can I pay my bill?
We are happy to accept Maestro, Visa and Mastercard. Please remember that you may have a daily limit. You are also welcome to pay your bill in cash or by bank transfer.
Is the use of the sauna included in the price?
The sauna, infrared cabin, tea corner and towels are included in the price. If you require bathrobes and slippers, they can be borrowed for a laundry fee of € 5.00.
Are there sheets and towels in the apartments?
Of course, your booked apartment is fully equipped.
